Evolutionary Astrologer Tom Jacobs

In this video, Evolutionary Astrologer, Medium, and Channel Tom Jacobs offers an explanation of integrating past life parts and why it is important, and then presents a contrast with soul retrieval, the traditional shamanic practice of locating and returning fragmented parts of self.

NEPTUNE AND US

Neptune is the planet of truth and illusion. It allows us to connect to higher realms and other dimensions, as well as escape the truth of what’s in front of us.
Isn’t that interesting? We can see the truth and be changed by it, or we can spend a ton of energy turning away from it and keeping it out.
Why we turn away from it is all about finding the truth of something – usually ourselves – too much to deal with. We can feel overwhelmed by seeing the capital-T truth behind something that’s going on.
In my experience, I’ve had to make space and time to deal with the reality of seeing what I see when I have Neptunian times. It takes energy but not like any other kind – sitting still to open to be fine with seeing something bigger than me, or feeling it, or looking into its eyes.
Today Neptune goes direct after its annual 5-month retrograde period. It has for that time appeared to move backward in the sky from our perspective. This means that its influence on us has worked in some way other than normal for 5 months. Now it’s ready to get back on with the regular way it affects us.
Stations, when a planet appears to be changing direction, offer the opportunity to see into a part of life and ourselves deeply. More deeply in fact than when it is in motion – direct or retrograde.
Look to where Neptune is transiting your natal chart now to see the opportunity you have to open to some higher truth and perhaps bring it through to this dimension.
Neptune ends its transit of Aquarius on February 3, 2012. Now that it’s direct, it’s the end of the line. We’ve had the chance to allow mental constructs to erode, as well as conceptions of difference. Many of us have been able to see and sense more truth inside and around ourselves. This has been good, but the natural next step is for it to enter Pisces.
How can we understand the planet of illusion/deception and truth entering its own sign? See my site here for info on an mp3 that explains Neptune’s 14-year transit in Pisces that begins February 3, 2012. It’s an exciting time for individuals and for us all, and the potency of Neptune entering its own sign deserves our attention.
Tom Jacobs is an evolutionary astrologer, medium, and channel offering insight into why your soul is here and guidance about how to make it happen. Contact him to set up a private session. See his site for information on his three original natal reports, and numerous MP3s on astrology and channeled material.
Each of his eight books including the new
Conscious Revolution: Tools for 2012 and Beyond is available as paperback and e-book between his siteAmazon, and Kindle.

Karma is Negotiable

Karma is Negotiable

Karma is NegotiableDestiny and the Divine Power of Love

Although the word "karma” is Sanskrit and is associated with Eastern religions, it simply refers to the law of cause and effect. Karma is not blind destiny or divine judgment, but is the principle the describes the natural reverberation that emerges from every action, whether that action is physical, emotion, mental, or spiritual.
Suffering and pain are not punishment from a tyrant God, nor are they "normal” or mere "coincidence.” When we truly understand the law of action and consequence, we can see that our lives are a result of our own moment to moment ignorance of the effects of our actions. We create our own suffering, therefore, we can create our own happiness instead, if we know how. No matter what religion or background we come from, through conscious action from moment to moment, we can originate a new set of causes, which in turn will generate a new set of results. This is how we can revolutionize our life. The power to change is in our hands.
  • Useful for followers of any spiritual tradition
  • Gives practical methods to change our lives today
  • Supported by solid science and authentic spiritual traditions

Greek Orthodox Calendar of Holidays & Fasts

In answer to numerous requests from readers, the rule of fasting is given for each day of the year. Where no indication of fast is given, and during "fast-free weeks," all foods may be eaten (except during Cheese-fare Week, when meat alone is forbidden every day). Where "fast day" is indicated alone, the fast is a strict one, with no meat, eggs, dairy products, fish, wine or oil to be eaten. Where, underneath "fast day," is indicated "wine and oil allowed," the fast is relaxed for the sake of a feast day or vigil, to allow eating of these foods. Where "fish, wine and oil allowed" is indicated, then all three of these foods may be eaten.
The rule of fasting, which is dependent on the Church's cycle of feasts and fasts, is contained in the Church's Typicon, chiefly in chapters 32 and 33, and is repeated in the appropriate places of the Divine service books, the Menaia and Triodion. In general, fast days for Orthodox Christians are all Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the year (except for fast-free periods), the four canonical fast periods of Great Lent, Nativity Fast, Apostles' Fast, and Dormition Fast, and a few special days: the Exaltation of the Cross (September 14th) and the Beheading of the Forerunner (August 29th)—which, even though they are feast days, are also fast days (with wine and oil allowed) for the sake of the events commemorated thereon.

if - kippling

If by Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream---and not make dreams your master;
If you can think---and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:.
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings---nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And---which is more---you'll be a Man, my son!
